Top 5 BookTubers

https://unsplash.com/photos/NmGzVG5Wsg8 When I am not reading or writing about books, I listen to BookTubers talk about books. I find that when I am in a reading slump or need a break, listening to other people ramble on about books is just the thing I need to put my mind at ease. I don’t know about you, but I spend way too much time on YouTube, and through my rabbit hole escapades, I have come up with a list of my Top 5 favorite BookTubers. I highly recommend subscribing to these remarkable individuals.   1.       1. Emmie Emmie is a wonderful person and reader while pursuing her degree in classical literature. She is always showing some of the most awesome classical reads that I have never heard of. If I purchase a new classic book, it is generally because Emmie made me do it. I love her vlogs, where she shares her filming, school, and reading life. Emmie’s voice is so soothing, and anytime I feel like I am going to have a panic attac...

My Trip to Ireland

This will be my last travel in Europe post as we have reached Ireland, the last country of our trip. Where I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Ireland, it was probably my least favorite country to visit. My mom, aunt, and I stayed in Dublin and took a few tours to see more prominent tourist attractions such as the Cliffs of Moher and the Giant Causeway. Living in a small village in the Midwest, I don’t see many homeless individuals, but in Dublin, several tents and people were begging, which was hard to see. Also, Dublin was by far the dirtiest city I have been to (and that is saying a lot). The smell was horrible, and the number of people littering was insane...

July Reading Wrap Up

I did not read all of the books on my TBR because I felt like mood reading. But I read quite a few books, and I can’t wait to share them with you!   ·          The first book I read this month was Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin . This book follows a witch (Lou), who is being chased by the Chasseurs (a group of witch hunters), until one day she must marry one of them to keep herself hidden in plain sight. This is an adventurous book that kept me on my feet during the whole story.   This is a very well-written book and the first in a series. I rated this book a 5 out of 5 stars. ·          Goodreads Link - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/40024139-serpent-dove?ac=1&from_search=true&qid=pStwrEKbti&rank=1   ·          Train To Nowhere by Anita Leslie was next.   After such a strong start with my first book, this one ...
