Must Have School Supplies for College

In my first year of college, I found myself a little lost in what to buy for college; so many people told me to buy all these materials, and I realized I was not going to need them. So here are the basic supplies you need to buy before starting classes.     Pencils This might sound like I am an eighty-year-old person. But pencils are essential for me. I started taking notes on my computer, then pens, and then I had to switch to pencils, and I prefer taking tests and generally writing with pencils. As a history/archeology major, I take a lot of handwritten notes, and my hands can start to hurt very fast. However, my mom got me thicker pencils in elementary school, and I loved using them. So I decided to find these pencils and use them once again. These pencils are typically for children learning to write but help save my hand. Top 5 Books from My Childhood

We all have books that have stuck with us from childhood; they are the stories that become part of us, and a small part of us want to be part of them. But Matt will have to stay in the wilderness while Father returns for ...

5 Non-Romance Books

I love to read a cute romance book, but every once in a while, I crave a book that a character does not find their true love or love is not even mentioned in the book. So to celebrate the singles in the world such as myself. Here are my top five non-romance books.   Fawkes by Nadine Brandes   Fawkes is a historical fiction book with a hint of fantasy that follows Guy Fawkes’s son (Thomas) as he tries to find his father to receive the most significant honor the Igniters have their mask. Their mask are essential as whatever color mask is given to the child of an Igniter is the color they can control (so if you have a blue mask, you can control any blue object like water, grey would control things like stone, and so on). However, the people of this time are dealing with a severe plague called the Stone Plague which Thomas has in his eye. Thomas must find his father to get his mask and hopefully pardon himself from the plague he has contracted. But when Thomas meets...
